steering wheel shake

What is your question?

I have a shake in my steering wheel that happens sometimes when I apply the brakes, sometimes not, the dealer says it is because I didn't use "factory shoes and pads" anyone else have the same issue, I am leaning towards cv joints but of course the dealer wants it to fall apart before they will fix it

dealer is right and wrong. it is the rotors, not because they are aftermarket, but because they are warped from overheating, not a brand. Roy
