engine stalls while driving for approx 3-5 secs and messaged displayed varies. Service parking assist, lane departure unavailable, stabilitrak not ready, service brake assist. All messages have come on at different times.
angle steering wheel sensor was replaced yesterday by a Cadillac dealership.. Light is no longer on but car seems to steer kinda stiff.. Is this normal--just purchased the car right after the sensor was installed so I don't know how it is supposed to feel.. Had a previous 2008 dts and it didn't feel this tight or stiff to steer. The current model is the DTS PERFORMANCE MODEL--previous model was the DTS lUXARY 11 MODEL. Are these two models of the same year supposed to have a difference in the how stiff the steering is? How will I know if the sensor is functionally correctly other that the light going off ??
Stabilitrack warning light had been coming on intermittently for past 2 years and now it stays on all of the time. I also occasionally hear a loud knocking or thumping sound (3 or 4 knocks) near the trunk area when the vehicle is stopped. Also, the steering control apparently failed once. I don't know if these three problems are related. Thanks in advance for any help!
