What is your question?
My 2017 Acadia on several occasions has displayed a "Steering Assist Reduced" warning, the engine temperature does not register, and the radiator/ac fan runs wide open. I understand replacing the thermostat and/or temperature sensor is not the answer.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It usually happens after being on the road for about 5 minutes. After restarting the engine the next day everything returns to normal in a couple of minutes.
How long has your 2017 GMC Acadia had this problem?
A few weeks

Hello, very hard to guess without performing diagnostic testing hands on with a diagnostic tool that can monitor the operation of systems and also check for any diagnostic trouble codes, even "C" chassis codes, not just "P" powertrain codes. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
I bought my 2017 Acadia Denali in June and I started getting this same issue in august and has happened about 5 times since. We unplugged the battery to reset everything and then it’s fine. Kinda getting irritating. Did you find out how to fix?
