When I crank my car here lately it makes a screatching noise after it cranks like I tried to start it while it is already running.
the gear contact between the starter and the flywheel. after a period of time, wear happens on these items. have a shop check it to see what part is worn, the starter or the flywheel. roy
Thanks for the response but the scretching noise happens while the key is turned to crank it. What kind of problems happen when your starter is going out?
it may not start due to the bad starter Roy
