Battery has been replaced.. Ford can't recreate the problem, and no computer information available on diagnostics. Turn key and nothing. Lights and all electric come on including radio, ac, and all sensors. What seems to make the problem better or worse? Hot out How long have you had this problem? over the last 18 months

Hello, This is likely a failed engine control module. This is common with the Ford Edge, and I fear your technician is either not taking appropriate diagnostic steps or is untrained. If the scanner cannot communicate with the ECM, there is a diagnostic procedure to be followed. The big issue is that rainwater can enter the ECM and cause failure.
