stalls at high speed

This does sound like an ECM problem. However, there is always more reasons this could be happening. Some other reasons are as follows (but NOT limited to): 1.) fuel filter needs to be replaced 2.) faulty fuel pump 3.) ECM 4.) Fuel injectors ---- Try adding some Lucas Oil Products fuel injector cleaner.
