Squealing when turning wheel to left

when i make a left turn i get a high squealing noise and the steering gets tight like i have no power steering

Cause - The "squealing noise" you describe is most likely a loose power steering belt. As you turn a greater load is placed on the power steering pump as it must work harder to pump fluid. A loose belt would explain the sudden loss of power steering as well as the noise you are hearing.
