Speedometer replacement

What is your question?

The speedometer needle stopped moving. It just lays at zero. When I set the cruise control, it works,holds the Vehicle at a steady speed, but the speed indicating needle shows no movement,stays at zero.

It sounds like the speedometer in the gauges cluster has failed - does the odometer still work? If so then you know the speed signal is getting to the cluster. If the cluster needs to be repaired it will need to be removed and sent to a specialty repair shop for exchange or repair.

Go to an auto recycling facility (aka Junkyard) and find another gage cluster. One from any similar light truck will fit. They're plug-n-play.
