The air intake for the heating and air conditioning system is just around the windscreen wiper panel, if you smell gasoline there may be a leak in the engine compartment. Gasoline leaks are dangerous, look for a fuel stain or leak. Hyundai as a car manufacturer put a lot of free technical information and workshop manuals on line for Hyundai owners. Check out www.hmaservice.com lots of great information.
same problem i had theres a rubber hose connected to the front fuel rail either adjust or replace the clamp. this a serious problem.
check to make sure you arent leaking gas. Mine started to leak gas from the fuel hose, and it was a simple fix you can have someone do it or you can just buy a new fuel hose at Kragen or something
