does not pick up speed when pressing gas pedal. has clicking in engine. was diagnosed as having 3 cylinders not working properly. what to do?

Ive just had this problem with my 2000 Mercury Sable Ls 3.0 DOHC . The Power Control Module went out,and it caused the car to only run 3 cylinders. It wouldnt move at times and others it would just putt down the street. It also idled really low around like 500 rpms. I had the spark plugs n some ignition coils replaced becasue thats what the diagnostic test said for my engine light. None of those fixed the car. Took it to the dealer and they diagnosed it as the computer (PCM) in the car. Be Ready to pay out your ass . Mine was a little over $800.
