I just bought a used 97 bmw 528i series. It just turned 100,000 miles and am wondering what service do I need and how much does it usually cost WITHOUT going to a BMW service center?
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 1997 BMW 528i. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
The ideal is to get the Owner's Manual, follow this link to take a look of a manual for a similar vehicle; http://bit.ly/bKxQA6
The BMW Maintenance System calculates the maintenance intervals; Oil Service, Inspection I and Inspection II. They are indicated in the Service Interval Display (see page 154).
It is hard to tell what the previous owner did to the car in terms of maintenance, I would perform at least Inspection I.
Thank you, but I don't know what is required at 100,000 miles so I can't choose from the list.

Thanks again, I'll do that
