When accelerating to about 65-70 the service engine light blinks until I slow to 60 or so, and it goes out.Only does it when trying to get up to speed on highway or to pass.

This is your check engine light. This article on RepairPal may help you to figure out what is going on: http://repairpal.com/check-engine-light Short answer, though, is that you should visit a shop for diagnosis and repair. Continuing to drive could damage components.
Probably engine misfire, take to a shop or buy a code reader - the engine code may be stored in the trucks computer as a history code, even if the light is out
