How long has your 2006 Chevrolet Malibu had this problem?
The tissue just occurred after I cleaned out all the carbon and replaced the EGR valve on Saturday the 30th of March 2019 not even a week

Are the diagnostic trouble codes still remaining? P0401 EGR flow codes can be due to a clogged or sticking EGR valve, and / or the ports of the engine that carry exhaust gases being full of carbon and deposits, preventing flow. This may need to be cleaned. A misfire code will lead you to a cylinder or cylinders of concern, and often times if you are replacing one plug and related wire or coil, you will need to replace all of them. Misfire codes can also mean that there are problems with the cylinder(s) unrelated to spark plugs and wires. Testing is needed.
