rough and low idle

What is your question?

idles rough and low at traffic lights to the point it almost turns off but it never has. Once in a while it will sputter when taking off and stalls (not good) Doesnt seem to do it once its up and going.

There can be several reasons for this, the first thing to do is check the diagnostic trouble codes, and check for vacuum leaks. The intake manifold gaskets are a common source of leaks. If you pull the codes let me know what codes you get and I can give more info.
