Roll up windows manually?

(1990 BMW 325i)
in Gleneden Beach, OR on February 17, 2011
I have a 87 BMW and the rear passenger window won't roll up, it's only down about 3 inches. Is there anyway to get it up? I don't need it to roll down again, I just need the window up, and am not really interested in replacing the regulator or the motor. Thanks

If operating the switch and pulling up doesn't provide a solution, the door trim is to be removed and the situation assessed. At that point you can remove this and that and jam the window up with something
