All of the lights are working signals, high beam , stop lights, hazards just the reverse lights are not turned on when backing up. What else do I need to check?

Back up light has a 10 amp fuse, fuse number 5, at the back up switch the pink wire should be live (Key On), when reverse is selected the L-GN wire becomes live on a manual transmission car(switch closes), on an automatic the neutral safety switch has power at the pink wire if the fuse is good (key on), when reverse is selected dark green/white wire becomes live if the switch is good. May have a bad switch. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... Alldata is very easy to navigate http://bit.ly/AllData_Repair_Manuals_Online
Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction : I got under the car, located the part, unplugged and sprayed with wd40... Voila! I have reverse again!
