Just replaced oil pan because i could not get plug off.I had followed steps in manual.The issue is that now the car has an ugly vibration everytime y pass a bump or hole in the street.There is a bracket that connects from the transmission to oil pan and just removed oil pan again and found out that the vibration has damaged the thread on oil pan.Had to put old oil pan back on but vibration still is there.I have not moved car cause i don't want old pan to be damaged too.This is getting me out of my nerves...please help!!!! what did i do wrong??? how do i get rid of that vibration.??
The only parts that were on my way were the oil filter and a bracket.This bracket holds the transmission and the oil pan together.I don't know what this bracket is called but it was tighten according to the manual.This vibrations damaged the thread on oil pan where this bracket goes but only after i put metal washers in between(thought that might solve the issue).I have removed those washers but vibration continues. Thanks for your reply,i hope this info helps you determine the vibration issues on my car.
