What is your question?
Already had main IMA battery replaced by recycled unit years ago in Honda Insight 2001. Car hasn't been "regularly driven" for 1 1/2 years (due to driver hospitalization, and handicap situation following). AAA replace the small battery already recently. Also rats chewed up car wiring, but "fixed". Dealer probably won't touch due to breach warranty by local mechanic who replaced unit previously. Can I save battery/car, or better to "junk it"? It already has couple of body work issues. Also have car registration/insurance fee$. Not much money to spend, but need a car. Hard to drive "as is." Battery charge light shows no juice/charge/change. Mechanic had "juiced it" before left station. Car "jerky" when attempt to drive home. Advice? Can I recoup costs and/or future ones to be paid? Have car insurance, liability only (to save cash). Local guy mention "taking it to the dealer", but can't afford to throw away more money for "second opinion". Seriously need help deciding
What makes this problem better or worse?
Doesn't seem to hold a charge. Has able to start car, but no juice gets stored and car spasms when driving it, even when "rev the engine".
How long has your 2001 Honda Insight had this problem?
Tried driving recently after 1 1/2 years (approx)
