Replaced Knock sensor Hyundai Santa Fe 2016 still doing the same thing it was

Going down interstate at 70 with cruise set suddenly the car cut off put in neutral cranked back with check engine light on won’t run properly put knock sensor on it as that was the code it threw. After replacing the sensor no code but still making noise with no gas response
What seems to make the problem better or worse? Bad all the time

I understand that more testing needs to be done I was on the road 200 miles away from home now it’s been towed to the dealer hope they can help us
