replaced instrument cluster panel but still no radio, dash lights and other problems.

Instrument panel flashing lights, no heated seats now, no radio, no speedometer working, replaced instrument cluster panel on 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 truck and it did not work. Researched internet and youtube and still haven't found any possible reasons. Dealer wants to start with fuse box and replacing it at over 500.00 plus 110.00 labor charge per hour. Anyone have any suggestions? Laid off so I can't afford to spend a lot at GMC dealer right now.

Was a reason given as to why the fuse box is suspect? If it has been damaged by water, for example, it's just something you will have to replace.
Circuit testing and ground testing will be needed, but I'm thinking that some of this has already been done -- it is definitely plausible that the fuse box is suspect.
