How much should it cost to repair instrument panel? Tachometer needle is in odometer area and odometer won't read.

GM had some extended warranties on some of their instrument panels, so I would check with your dealer to see if your applies. Or look here for repair info: http://www.modulemaster.com/en/services/rebuild_info.php
The same thing happened to my 2005 pontiac sunfire. It was going to cost me around $650. I was only 7000 miles out of my warranty. I called GM and they actually paid for the part and I had to pay for the labor about $240. I would give them a call
