How do you remove #3 spark plug when the steering shaft is right in front of it.

not fun, but with practice you can do it. Because socket wrenches are too fat you have to use a spark plug socket that has a hex wrench end on it (most already do), use a box end or combo wrench to turn it. Those can slip into that tight spot.
