Hello, it sure sounds like you have unburned fuel - due to perhaps the engine processor seeing too much air and as a result demanding more fuel for the air. You could also have an ignition system issue, causing fuel to not be ignited - and resulting in poor performance and even engine misfiring. Hands on diagnostic testing is needed. Your rattling idle and sound could also be an example of engine timing being off or some other internal engine issue.
