For vehicles equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine, the cylinder heads may have been improperly machined, not allowing for lubrication to reach important areas of operation. This can cause the engine to stall and fail, increasing risk of a crash. As a note, Ford is not aware of any affected vehicles being outside of dealership control at this time.

Recall repairs on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. According to Ford, no known affected vehicles are outside of dealership control at this time.
