The passenger frontal air bag may not deploy as needed in an accident due to a fault of the occupant classification system that detects the presence of a passenger in the front passenger seat. If a passenger is not detected and the air bag does not deploy, there would be an increased risk of serious injury.
The brake lights may not operate properly due to an improperly adjusted switch located on the brake pedal. This would cause the increased risk of an accident.
The vehicle may experience a total loss of steering control in the electronic steering system. This would cause loss of vehicle control.
The passenger air bag may not deploy as expected in the event of a crash, or it may deploy when it should not.
