On September 25, 2017, Ford recalled 504 Ford F-150. Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2017 ford f-150, f-250, f-350, f-450, and f-550 trucks with manually-adjusted front passenger seats. the seat belt anchor may not be adequately welded to the seat cushion frame. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 210, "seat belt assembly anchorages," and 207, "seating systems."

For vehicles equipped with manually adjusted front passenger seats, the passenger front seat belt anchor may not be welded properly to the passenger front seat frame. This could result in the belt becoming detached, increasing the risk of occupant injury in an accident.

Recall repairs on your Ford must be performed by a Ford dealership. Ford will notify known owners of affected vehicles beginning in November, 2017. If you do not receive a notification, but wish to check to see if your vehicle is included, please contact one of your local Ford dealerships.
