For electric vehicle models, the brake line on the passenger rear side may contact a ground strap, causing corrosion and wear to the line which can result in a brake fluid leak. This can result in loss of braking power increasing the risk of a crash.

You must visit a General Motors dealership to perform recall repairs on your GMC truck or Chevrolet truck. The schedule for General Motors to initially contact known owners of affected vehicles was during July, 2000.
