Rattleing noise in front end

Can be, but not likely. I suspect still something loose, like a ball joint, or a tie rod end. You could have rack and pinion mounting bushings worn, but not the gear itself, I don't think. Upper strut mounts also can make noise. Get another opinion at a shop with a tech that has a good ear. -Dave
