Rattle in fuel tank

What is your question?

going over small pot holes or bumps there is a rattle in the fuel tank. Someone told me there is some sort of device under the fuel pump inside the tank that can come loose and cause a rattle.

Try kicking the rear exhaust pipe and if it rattles then its the catylitic convertor and you can get a estimate here www.repairpal.com/estimator
