Engine wining on speakers even when radio is not on.
How long has your 2010 Chevrolet Equinox had this problem?

Hello, do you have a factory equipped sound system, or has a replacement been installed? Sounds like a ground wire of some kind in the vehicle feeding back. This could be difficult to guess at, so perhaps any modifications should be addressed, or even recent repairs - not even isolated to just the audio system.
