What is your question?
The year my car was produced is not an option in the year column, I have a 2001 500 sl mercedes benz. The radio is requiring a code. Where do I find the code?

the code is printed on a credit card size piece of paper and is usually found in your owners manual binder. If you cannot find it, the dealer from where it was purchased may have the information on file. A dealer also told me that you can pull the radio from the dash and that the number is on the unit.
I had to call the dealer. I told him I was several hours away and read him my vin #. If you try trhee times and you are wrong you have a 24 hour waiting period.Like leaving the car key turned on for hours or on while you are driving. If it is not an original radio you have to take it out of the dash for info, but the dealer will have it I'm sure. Write it in your car book when you get it. Good luck Pat
