radiator replaced;went to check oil after & dipstick broken. Any way they did it

Due to heat from the engine and age of the vehicle it's not unusual at all for the plastic top portion of these dip sticks to break off .. There is no way to tell when it may happen .. Husband could have very easily done it when removing dip stick simply because it was at that time it was going to break, regardless of whomever pulled on it! .. The repair involves removal of the dip stick tube to remove broken dip stick - then re-install the tube and a new stick.... Stick available at dealer.
