Radiator fan

(2002 Mini Cooper)
in Cartersville, VA on November 02, 2009
Radiator fan was running constantly and drained battery. After replacing battery, disconnected a couple of times and then stopped working. No visible signs of overheating now. What are consequences of running as is(until I can afford to repair)?

The real danger here is that the fan will not work properly and you will overheat the engine, causing your vehicle to break down and cause possible engine damage. Or the fan will stick on again, drain the battery and leave you with a car that wont start.
