What is your question?
After parking i smell gasoline near back seat doors, strongest on passanger side. The engine light is not on, and gas cap is tight.
How long has your 2010 Volvo XC70 had this problem?
2 days

This could be a leak from the fuel sending unit or a line. Either way, this will require a full inspection and I wouldn't wait. This is a very dangerous situation. If you don't work on your own cars then use this link to find a good shop near you. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Alex
Thanks Alex. I did take it to the dealer right away. The fuel pump was replaced 2 weeks prior to this, and it turns out this new pump is faulty. The car has been in over a week and they say they will honor the warranty on the pump, but want me to pay the labor again. I won't, because I would not have the labor cost if I was sold a non faulty pump, right? Anyway, i am disappointed with the Volvo dealer, and am holding my ground because it doesnt make sense to pay for labor again. I'll report the outcome...but I should mention that it has been over 24 hours ago that I was told the service manager would call me back, and I haven't heard a word. My car sits @ Betten Imports Volvo dealer in Grand Rapids, MI.
I have replaced the fuel pump on my xc70. The fuel pump has a collar and seal that can be installed incorrectly and the hoses to attach the pump are quick connect and can leak if not installed correctly. I would blame the dealership for poor workmanship
