What is your question?
A few weeks ago, my stereo and all controls on climate control module stopped working. So, I have no air/heat, no radio, and no control over the driver assist features. The screen is still working because it is still backlit, just the screen is blank other than the two thermometers on the bottom of the screen. When I am parking , the screen shows the car and where the objects are around it. But then it just goes back to being blank. I have scoured the internet trying to find a solution but besides just replacing the whole module, I havent found a solution for this. To me, it seems like there is limited power going to the unit. I checked the fuses under the glovebox and the fuses in the box under the hood. All seem to be in working order. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Is there any troubleshooting or resets I can do to the system? I really dont want to take the car into a volvo mechanic because I know that will be costly.
What makes this problem better or worse?
nothing, it is consistent no matter the conditions

I’m having the same exact issue with my 2008 XC70 as well. I have gone all over the car and can’t find anything wrong with fuses, cables, etc. I’m taking mine to the dealership this week and will message any diagnostic feedback I get. If you fixed it by now message me and let me know.
