What is your question?
Front seats torn at seams. Thermostat broken. A few other signs of interior wear and tear. Running not badly but repairs getting more frequent. Wonder if it's worth it to keep putting money in, or time to bail?

Hi Volvo, For your info, the average age for a car in the U.S. is about 11.4 years and going up. Its not uncommon to see a cars mileage approaching 300, 000 now a days. You are fortunate that you are stilling driving your car and may have time to make a intelligent decision. It does sound like you are going to be doing repairs on a regular basis ( this is taking place of a car note). I would have the car inspected by a certified shop to determine condition of car. If you have been thinking about replacing and can afford it, now would be a good time to do this.
Without looking at the vehicle, we would be doing you a dis-service offering you any advise. It would be like asking your doctor if you should get a cast on your arm. Without examining you and taking an x-ray, I doubt any recommendation would be made. We would be happy to evaluate the vehicle and review our findings and recommendations with you. You can reach us at 301-881-9429 Thanks Scott Folley
