The transmission is acting exactly like repair pal described. Suggesting software update. What seems to make the problem better or worse? When a.c. is runing seems it puts additional stress on tranny How long have you had this problem? Just noticed it 2 weeks a go (just bought 2 months ago) my 5th Volvo wagon

Software updates must be performed by a qualified technician that is trained, has the proper equipment and software, and has access to the necessary calibration files to update the vehicle processor with. The dealership is one place, some high end repair facilities that have made the financial investment for all the software and have access to Volvo updates may be a choice also.
