Doing it more frequently. Replaced maf and map sensors. When we did that it ran fine for a day or two. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Do you have any warning lights on and/or diagnostic trouble codes stored in the vehicle? This could be related to the engine controls or a transmission issue. Diagnosing starts with checking for diag codes, get those, post them and we can help further.
