radio "OFF"

If it say's "OFF", then someone entered the code incorrectly 3 times. You do need o have the radio on for an hour or so to get it to say "ON", then you enter the code. If the radio is lit up, it should reset in an hour or so, if this doesn't happen, then you may need to take it back t the mechanic and have them deal with this.

the same thing happend to my radio

I had the same problem , the battery was replaced and I messed up the code. According to the owners manual, it indicates you must have the radio on with the ignition set to I . However, the screen on the radio says "off" . That's when you can renter the code after two hours. The screen says "off" and then reverts to "code" after two hours. My code was listed in the owner manual. My code was 5413. Maybe they are all the same , maybe not .if you have the code, follow the above instructions. Sharon
