Volvo using oil after oil change. Engine is running fine. Oil already changed.

Hello, Oil consumption on a 19 year old vehicle is expected, but there is a limit to what is reasonable. If you are seeing more than a quart of oil lost between oil changes, it is time to investigate. Turbo-charged vehicles use more oil than supercharged or naturally aspirated engines, however, when the PCV valve(s) have gone bad, they can start to use even more oil. Do you have any smoke from the tailpipe when you demand power from the engine, or when accelerating after idling for a couple minutes?
