Disc display comes on dash

The temperature sensor is likely disconnected (disc). The temperature sensor for this is on the front of the car, under the bumper and what happens is it can become disconnected or broken if you hit the lower front end of the car on a curb or similar. Have a look under there and you may even see it hanging down, good luck and let us know what you end up finding out.
