need to know how to replace a fan belt

Release the tension in the tensioner and lock it with a pin through the small hole in the front of the tensioner, then remove the old belt and install the new one. Easy to say, but getting the new belt on is a pain, better to get an experienced tech to do this for you.
There is no fan belt on this car, the fan is electrically driven. There is a serpentine belt, and it's a bit of a pain to replace, but I've done it. Requires taking off the front passenger side wheel, there's a plastic cover that you can unhook and fold up to get access. You then need to release tension on the belt by locking the tensioner. Maneuvering the new belt into place is a pain. The old one: just cut it in half and pull off from the top.
