My 1999 volvo s80 2.9L non turbo has trouble restarting after warming up. When it does run it runs great. I was told it may be the engine coolant temperature sensor... ?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Starts fine after engine sits and cools

Hello, not sure how an engine coolant sensor could possibly influence the restarting of the vehicle. I would be looking at engine performance issues at the time the concern occurs. Check for fuel, spark, air and exhaust flow. Also - is it cranking and not starting, or just not cranking at all?
