The cruise control stopped working. The car has 127,000 miles on it and runs great. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

There could be quite few problems could cause this. Is the ABS/TRAC warning light on? My suggestion is to take the car to a Volvo specialty shop. They can perform a computer diagnostic on the Cruise Control System and tell you what the problem is. Zee
I would also check for a vacuum leak in the cruise control system, or a bad brake vacuum switch. Zee's advice is good though, find a Volvo shop and they will know just what to look for.
