the high beams will not stay on...estimated cost to repair.

Seems to be some sort of a electrical malfunction. You can start by check your high beam fuses if applicable. I don't believe anyone can give you an accurate price on a repair until it's properly inspected. I don't believe it's related due to its on a separate electrical circuit. However electrical issues can be releated even if they may seem far fetched. Best of wishes. Michael
