Hey Cassie, This may be due to the temperature change, but I doubt it's from the fluid, I think it's more likely an electrical issue with the brake switch, shift lock solenoid or an issue with the shift lock cable. If it continues I would have it looked at by a shop that has the proper equipment to read out all the diagnostic information in the vehicle (some diagnostic codes can be stored if the shift lock system is malfunctioning).
