It says that the Main Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold on bank 1. I wanted to know what steps to take to fix this trouble code

usually when you get an efficiency code the catalytic converter is on its way out. you can try new spark plugs and coils first. Seen these start going out and cause this message. if it still happens then you may have to bite the bullet and replace the cat and o2 sensors.
