What is your question?
I noticed it a few weeks ago. When on the expressway I got to cruise and after a few minutes when when I needed to accelerate again I felt it in the gas pedal. It's getting worse. Now most of the time and the whole car shakes The mechanic looked at it and could not figure exact cause. He said the transmission seemed fine that it could be a CV axle or a motor mount or transmission mount --but was baffled. They looked at it for 3 hours. Mechanic took it out said It vibrates on acceleration. Not in neutral. The vibration is more like a shudder/side to side wiggle. any ideas?

I would guess one of the inner cv joints on one of the front axles is binding up. It's very hard to diagnose, the only real way to know for sure is to replace the axles. I would bet if this is the cause, it's the right axle. The right side inner cv joint is very close the the exhaust system and the heat can cause this over time. Good Luck!
I took it to a certified volvo repair shop and they are going to replace the CV joints. Not sure if this is too much but thye said $520 including labor. I will post and let you know if it solved the problem. Thanks!
I have recently begun experiencing this same problem in my 2004 Volvo s40 t5 and am wondering if you were ever able to correct your issue and it so what was the actual cause and repair?
