Where is the TCM located on MY 2001 S40 1.9T?

The controller for the transmission is located on near the driver's knee area of the center stack / console area of the dash. However, in replacing the module, you may have to do some programming - I am not entirely sure. Diagnostic steps should be taken to find out the source of your failure and best course of repair. For example, what if a wire is damaged or compromised and not the module itself?
