How to adjust top out of alignment when it closes. Off to right by about an inch

What is your question?

The hardtop will not close and is off by about an inch toward the passenger door. Only way to close is to reach on passenger side while closing and pull toward center. Second time this has happened. Volvo dealer says just part of maintenance!!
