Drivers side door opens when driving

Hello, This represents one of two situations. The door latch striker may need to be adjusted, however, that is not as likely as the door latch mechanism failing. If the door panel has been removed before, I would ensure the routing for the release cable to the door handle is routed correctly and not kinked or corroded. Otherwise, changing the door latch inside the door is the most obvious and likely solution.
